MusicSmarts offer innovative music programs for children between the ages of 2-17.  Children enter our programs through our KinderSmarts class, and from there may move to other programs based on their age and learning abilities.

We offer instruction in piano, voice, brass, percussion, guitar, piano band, synthesizers, composition, improvisation, opera and musicals.

We offer several academic training programs on both a state and National Level including the Music Teachers Association of California – CM Program, The American College of Musicians – National Guild Program, the National Association of Teachers of Singing – Auditions, and participation in local and regional competitions including the Contra Costa MTAC Baroque Contest, and Sonata contest.

Students are given two performance opportunities during a ten month period at the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center, Bankhead Theater.

All of our instructors are university trained and are FBI fingerprinted and background checked.
