ActSmart Junior Theater

The Story

On a perfect summer day in the park, Alice sees a White Rabbit hurrying by. Curious to where he is going, Alice chases him into the dark tunnel, thus beginning her adventure. After the Doorknob counsels Alice to drink from a bottle then eat a cookie, Alice shrinks, thus allowing her to fit through a keyhole, beginning her adventures with the Wonderland creatures. The White Rabbit leads Alice into twin jabbering clowns, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, who teach her some manners. She then plays a wild game of musical chairs at the Mad Hatter's tea party. Following the advice of the Cheshire Cat, she ends up facing the evil Queen of Hearts. Waking up, Alice realizes the entire story has been a dream!

Dates, Times and Location

The ActSmart Junior Theater 2010 program is Monday through Friday, 9AM to 4PM, beginning July 19 and going through August 13th. The camp location will be in Livermore. The program is divided into two groups, one for children ages 3-10, and the other for juniors ages 11-17. All performances will be at the Livermore Bankhead Theater. The performances are on Saturday, August 14th and Sunday, August 15th.

Cost

Enrollments before December 31, 2009 are eligible for an Early Bird Discount of 20% off, reducing the tuition to $1040 with a deposit of $260.00 due at the time of registration. The program's regular tuition for the 4 week program is $1300 with a 25% deposit of $325 due at the time of registration. The balance is due by July 1st, 2010.

Registration

To enroll your child, go to the Registration page, fill out the information, and make your deposit. The non-refunable deposit is 25% of the program's tuition, with the remainder due by July 1st, 2010. Deposits can either be made by credit card (through Google Checkout), or by sending in a check to SmARTSunlimited, P.O. Box 1013, Livermore, CA 94551.

Pre-Care and After-Care

Pre-care and after-care services are available at the rate of $7.75 per hour. Pre-care is available from 6AM-9AM, and after-care is available from 4PM-6PM. Pre and after-care must be signed up for in advance. Sorry, no drop-ins.
